A Place Where You Can Trust the Help
Often the biggest challenge when it comes to overcoming issues with substance abuse is admitting when help is needed. Maybe you’ve tried to quit or cut back on the substance only to find yourself back on the destructive road of abuse.
Maybe you’ve confided in friends or family your struggles and gotten some advice or recommendations (or even criticism) but nothing that truly gives you the motivation or hope that you can overcome this fight.
It is a fight. That’s not an exaggeration. And it’s not a fight you should be fighting alone. The opponent is too crafty and experienced. It knows how to fight better than you, and you both know it.
But knowledge is power, so admitting you need help is a big first step in recovery. The next biggest challenge in overcoming an issue with substance abuse, though, is finding the right kind of help.
It’s great to have friends and family that are supportive. In fact, that’s a huge component of any successful recovery. However, you need a supportive environment that completely focuses on your treatment. You need an environment filled with professionals that care and understand what you’re dealing with and can tailor a treatment plan that:
- Is built with your current situation and previous history in mind
- Identifies underlying issues or co-occurring disorders that may be influencing your substance misuse
- Incorporates substance abuse and mental health programs as part of an overall rehabilitation plan
At New Era Rehabilitation, our experts will not only show you how to win the fight with substance abuse, they’ll give you the tools to do it and even jump into the fight with you.
Again, you don’t have to win this fight alone. We’ll be there with you, armed with a plan made strictly for you that may include some of the programs below.
Inpatient Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Services at New Era Rehabilitation CT
Part of tailoring a substance abuse rehabilitation treatment plan to your unique situation is determining how long you’ve been struggling and whether you’ve become physically dependent on the substance. If you’ve been misusing for a long time, tried to quit only to experience intense withdrawals, or have quit several times only to relapse harder than before, then our inpatient treatment services may be recommended as part of your plan.
This is part of the initial step in treating the addiction and the harm it’s caused to your overall health. Before you start a long-term recovery program, it’s important to get the medical and mental health impacts of substance abuse under control and properly cared for. This is what inpatient services aim to address.
Our Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Program in Connecticut
If you’re a long-time substance abuse sufferer but don’t need the level of care that our inpatient program provides, you may have an outpatient program recommended for you instead. Outpatient programs provide a lot of the same care that our inpatient services provide. The main difference is with our outpatient programs, you get to go home every night.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is our most, well, intensive of our outpatient services. Our IOP is made up of small groups of no more than 12 participants. They meet for 8 – 12 weeks. Weeks consist of 3 sessions per week that each last for 3 hours.
All outpatient programs offer structured plans that require more frequent attendance at therapy sessions. IOP, however, requires the most in terms of attendance.
